Online Child Safeguarding and Online Adult Safeguarding Training
Pricing and Purchasing.
To allow our customers to take full advantage of our discounts whilst planning for the future, we operate a training credits system.
Every Online Safeguarding Course you will require costs one training credit.
You decide which course each credit is used for later, when you actually use them.
Click here for a short video on how the system works.
- Work out the total number of Safeguarding Courses you need. General information on who should take which course is here, Ofsted specific information here and Dental CQC specific information here, or click on any course name (below) for course descriptions.
- Refer to the table (above) for pricing and discounts.
- Add the training credits you require to your basket and complete our checkout procedure. With immediate payments, you will receive an email with your account details and instructions. For other payment methods there may be a processing delay.
- Log in to your account, then select the courses required and who should take them. Their login details will be automatically emailed to you for distribution or you can choose to send their login details direct to their individual email addresses.
Training Credits do not expire, so any extra credits purchased can be used at any time for any safeguarding course in the future.
Available Online Safeguarding Courses (UK).
All of our UK safeguarding courses specifically include references and comparisons where legislation and/or guidance differ between England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland; and have direct links to all the UK local Safeguarding Boards and Protection Committees.
Standard Online Child Safeguarding courses are available in three variations and are appropriate for all staff:

SAFE online training courses reflect the latest government guidance "Working Together to Safeguard Children 2015", the Care Act 2014 and comply with Ofsted and CQC requirements.
Our “Standard” courses are appropriate for all staff working with children, young people and/or adults at risk. For health staff, both levels one and two are covered as required by the Intercollegiate Safeguarding Children & Young People: roles and competencies for health care staff 2014.
SAFE Members gain an extra 10% discount against the prices shown on this page. Membership must be purchased and approved before this discount is available (usually 24 hours).
All courses are fully trackable online. SAFE's uniquely numbered certificates can be downloaded upon completion of a course, and also verified at any time online. Certificates are all stored online for both participants and administrators to download. Organisations can download staff training records (as an excel file) and copies of certificates at any time (in pdf format); ideal for any upcoming Ofsted or CQC inspection.
All SAFE online courses meet the educational criteria required for verifiable Continuing Professional Development under the General Dental Council Lifelong Learning Scheme (and the Standard Child Protection course by CET Optics) and represent 3 hours of verifiable CPD each.
Please Note: Neither Ofsted, nor CQC regard training courses in child protection and safeguarding children or in safeguarding vulnerable adults (now termed adults at risk) to be sufficient on their own. All organisations working with adults at risk and/or children and young people also require adult safeguarding policies and adult safeguarding procedures and/or child safeguarding policies and child protection procedures to be in place and up to date. All references and information required for organisations to create their own is available here on our website. We also offer proforma policies and procedures (updated when appropriate) free with SAFE Membership which can save many hours of work.
Please see our T&C for usage/refund details.
