We are not currently accepting bookings for face to face services in line with Government guidance. When restrictions allow, bookings will be strictly subject to SAFE personnel being able to travel to and from the venue on the same day, using their own transport (and not public) and SAFE's risk assessment of the venue in accordance with relevant government COVID-19 guidance at time of the training.
Blended learning is an excellent substitute for Face to face training, suited to current restrictions. It combines relevant online training courses, plus a bespoke live video training session hosted by Safeguarding experts from SAFEcic. All courses are available as blended learning and are appropriate for all sectors, including health up to level 4.

Trustees' Legal Responsibilities: A Management Briefing and Five Point Health Check
This popular, quality assured and interactive course is perfect for busy trustees and can be delivered at board meetings in 1.5 or 2 hours. With certificates of attendance valid for two years, the course meets the latest legal requirements of the Charity Commission, local Safeguarding Boards and Partnerships.
Professional Boundaries Training:
This half day, interactive and quality assured course is a must for managers and all those who work, or volunteer, directly with children, young people, adults at risk and/or their families or carers to consider safeguarding professional boundaries within their own job roles and responsibilities. NB Delegates need to have current safeguarding training certificates in place.
Safer Recruitment (previously rigorous recruitment):
Suitable for all responsible for recruitment, this course promotes safe practice and provides detailed guidance on sector specific requirements and relevant legislation. The session will ensure recruiters have a working knowledge of how to recruit safely and fairly and is a must for all hiring within the child and/or adult workforce.
Managing Adult and Child Safeguarding in Your Organisation:
A full day course for senior management teams, charity trustees and company directors of all sectors working with vulnerable groups, their families or carers. The session will teach participants to identify and plan actions needed to ensure their organisation is meeting it's legal safeguarding 'duty of care' and maintain their safeguarding arrangements in line with legislation, government guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Suitable for all who manage teams working with vulnerable groups, this session will provide delegates with a working knowledge of appropriate safeguarding arrangements. It also offers the opportunity to study sector and practice specific issues arising as well as discuss relevant case studies.
Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE):
This half day course is suitable for all those who work with children, young people their families and carers, this course updates participants' knowledge and understanding of CSE and promotes awareness of how to support children and young people in establishing safer relationships.
