If anyone in your organisation regularly works with  adults at risk the answer is yes and they must be current. Please remember that the definition of adults at risk includes any person 18 years and over (UK) or 16 (Scotland) receiving any form of health care.

However, reading it all, writing the policies and procedures and keeping up to date can be very time consuming and laborious.
