In these challenging times with the difficulties of delivering face to face safeguarding training safely due to the government's COVID-19 guidance for social distancing, SAFEcic has developed a blended programme for training delivery to meet the bespoke needs of any organisation or individuals who normally would like to attend face to face training.

In addition to the massive savings in travel costs and personnel time, delegates have the advantage of being able to access SAFEcic's high quality online courses and meeting one of our expert trainers in a follow up Zoom session to discuss safer working practices, dealing with sensitive issues, real life case scenarios and asking any questions they might have.

All of SAFEcic's courses are quality assured and continuously updated to reflect the Care Act 2014 and related Care and support statutory guidance, statutory guidance Working Together to Safeguard Children 2018 (updated Feb 2019), Keeping Children Safe in Education 2020, What to do if you're worried a child is being abused 2015, Ofsted, Care Quality Commission (CQC), Charity Commission, local Safeguarding Partnership, Board and/or Committee requirements and local equivalents across the UK, including the Channel Islands.

The courses also meet the educational criteria required for verifiable Continuing Professional Development under the General Dental Council Lifelong Learning Scheme and there is a CET Optic Child Safeguarding Course for Opticians.

SAFE cic can also offer other blended learning courses including Safer Recruitment, Professional Boundaries and Management briefings.
