PRIZE: The competition prize (to be awarded to the winning entrant) is 5 x online eSafety training courses worth a total of £49.75 (for group administrators) or 1 x online eSafety training course worth £9.95 (for an individual). The courses need to be allocated within 3 months of the draw being made. The winning entrant is to be drawn at random by SAFEcic.

CLOSING DATE: Closing date for entries is midnight on the last day of each calendar month

DRAW DATE: The draw will take place within 7 days of the closing date

ENTRANTS: The competition is open to ages 18 and over, except employees of SAFEcic, their subsiduary companies, their families, agents or anybody connected with this competition or third party company including third party promotional partners. Entry to the competition is free. No purchase is necessary.

CRITERIA: For entries to be considered valid, all entrants must complete a Quality Assurance online survey. Any entries not adhering to the criteria will be considered invalid and void. No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed or corrupted, or due to computer error in transit. Entries submitted with incomplete or inaccurate data will also be considered invalid or void.

PRIZE TERMS AND CONDITIONS: The prizes are as stated, are not transferable to another individual and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.

The winner is responsible for expenses and arrangements not specifically included in the prize. Prizes are subject to availability and the prize supplier's terms and conditions.

The promoters reserve the right to amend or alter the terms of competitions and reject entries from entrants not entering into the spirit of the competition.

In the event of the prize being unavailable, the promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.

DATA PROTECTION: SAFEcic will not sell, distribute or lease the entrant's personal information to third parties unless SAFEcic have the entrant's permission or are required to do so by law. For more information on how SAFEcic handle data, please visit

THE WINNER: The winner will be drawn at random from all the entries adhering to these terms and conditions. The winner will be notified by email within 28 days from the draw date. 

ACCEPTING THE PRIZE: The winner has 28 working days to confirm acceptance of their prize. If the winner cannot be contacted by email in this period or cannot accept the prize, then SAFEcic reserves the right to draw another winner from all the other valid entries received before the closing date.

WINNERS: A list of winners will be available by writing to SAFEcic no earlier than 6 weeks after the close of the first month of competition. Only the surname and county of the winner will be disclosed.

DISCLAIMER: In case of a dispute arising, SAFEcic's decision is final. SAFEcic reserve the right to modify or withdraw the competition at any time.

    Course: Raising Awareness of Child Protection Training (Level One)


    Target group: This course is a “must” for all those who work or volunteer directly with children, young people, and/or their families.

    Meeting the latest requirements of “Working Together to Safeguard Children” 2010, the course covers:

    • The latest safeguarding legislation, national and local policies and procedures
    • Recognition of child abuse concerns
    • How to respond appropriately to concerns and /or allegations
    • E-safety
    • Relevant case studies

    Discussing best working practices

    All participants receive a comprehensive training pack and SAFEchild Certificate, valid for 3 years
